Good times in the Fall

Go Rockies!

We decided to go to another game this year, and it was of lots of fun, especially since we won!

Fireworks on Labor Day? Apparently! We were hanging out at our place and started to hear fireworks. We looked outside, and yep, labor day has fireworks here in Colorado!

Jazon Mraz Concert!!!! 

He has been my favorite singer for a long time, and we knew we had to go see him at Red Rocks! Christina Perri opened for him which was great, and then his concert was absolutely amazing! Except for the rain... but it was still great!

A couple of weeks ago we went up in the mountains to Lair o' the Bear Park. With the fall colors it was the perfect time to go!

Mike's friend Shane was in Boulder for a conference, so we went up there to have breakfast with him. It was a very gloomy day but we also drove up into the mountains which was beautiful!

Amber and Ryan came to visit us!!!

They few in on Wednesday the 10th, and left Saturday the 13th of October. 

Wednesday night we picked them up at the airport about 8:30, went home, ate a late dinner, talked a lot then went to bed.

Thursday I took them to Red Rocks and Buffalo Bills Grave. 

Next we picked up Mike and went to the Denver Mint. It is one of only a few places in the US you can see money being made, it was pretty cool. After that we walked the 16th street mall, and ate at Bubba Gumps (yum!), then we went home and watched Limitless.

The next day we decided to go to Estes Park. It was a beautiful drive, and we had fun hanging out by the big lake and watching all of the elk. Then we drove to Golden to eat at Woody's Pizza- so good!!

Saturday was the last day. We had picked up pumpkins the day before, so we had fun carving them. After that we went and saw the Columbine High School Memorial, then went downtown to see the Divinci Machine Exhibit. Unfortunately, it was time to go back to the airport so we ate lunch and took them to the airport. We were so glad to have them come see us, it was so much fun! I have such great friends!!

Some other random news:

Mike became first counselor in the Young Men's Presidency. He is pretty excited about it since it will be a completely new calling for him. (He will also stay with me teaching Sunday School for the time being)

McWayne and Shannon found out that they are having a baby GIRL!! They were able to get me on facetime when my parents and siblings cut the cake- and there was pink inside! We are so excited for them, and can't wait for the little once that will come in February!
