6 Months!

 A couple of days before she turned six months old we started giving Brooklyn food!! We started with rice cereal mixed with breast-milk, which she seemed to like just fine. Then on her 6th month birthday we decided to be really nice and give her some peas :) She had shots earlier in the day which was sad, so we wanted to try and make her more happy. She got really excited.. but also looked like she absolutely hated it haha. She kept eating though. However, within the next couple of days we realized she really didn't like peas. We then tried giving her sweet potatoes, and I think it is safe to say that she really enjoyed those!

For Valentine'd Day, we went downtown to eat at Rodizio Grill. So good! Then we did some shopping, and headed back home to hang out and watch a movie. It was such an amazing day. Brooklyn made her first drawing in a Valentine to her Dad, He got me lots of treats and wrote sweet notes, and I got Mike a new wallet and a shaving mirror. We also got Brooklyn a cute pink toy. We definitely have reason to celebrate Valentine's Day. We sure love our little family!

 Fun things:

This month she started to eat foods! So far she like peas (not at first, but she can stand them now), carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, peaches, green beans, pears and rice cereal. She also liked oatmeal, but we think she might be allergic because she breaks out in a rash when we give it to her.

She can now roll over from her back to her stomach and back a lot. In fact, now she rolls EVERYWHERE!

She love to walk! With help of course. But she loves to stand and walk around the house.

She laugh at new and funny sounds- like lip smacking.

Her tongue was out a lot this month! She just let it hang outside her mouth for several hours a day sometimes.

She loves music. She will sway back and forth with it.

She still likes to put stuff on her face- like blankets.

She likes to wave both of her arms like she is waving. Mike calls her our little flappy bird.

Brooklyn has grown up a lot this month. She moves all over the place, giggles all the time, and is a joy to play with!
