On April 15th, 2014 we bought a house!! We had been looking for over a year, and although we had gotten close to getting other homes, we finally found this one! It is located in Roxborough, CO, about 20-25 minutes south of where we used to live. It is a small town outside of the Denver Metro area. We really loved the little town, and Lockheed Martin where Mike got assigned to work at is in this town, so it was perfect. It is probably the smallest house we looked at, but also about the cheapest so that was good! We figured it would be the perfect place for us for a little bit, so we bought it! It is cute, has a garage, a yard, and backs to open space! Super nice to go from an apartment to a house!
A little bit about our house : 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, a loft. Built in 2001. We bought it for 227,900, which is a lot but compared to the rest of the Denver housing it is definitely on the cheap end. We absolutely love our house. We hope to move closer to family before too long, so who knows how long it will be ours, but we are enjoying it for now! Here are some pictures:
