Austin 4 Months

This little kid is 4 months old! And adorable as ever! He is awake a lot more these days, and he is rolling over! He hasn't done it a lot, but he can roll over to his tummy, and roll back on his back. He is such a light to our family. He smiles and giggles, and talks a lot. It has been a little bit of a rough month though. After his blessing he got a cold. This made him not want to nurse because of his sore throat, and nursing has been difficult ever since. He will nurse when he is almost asleep, but rarely will he when he is awake. So that's been hard for both of us. However, I do know that breastmilk is best for him, so we are still trying, and he is slowly getting better at getting back to normal. Hopefully things keep getting better. Austin also has a bit of a flat head in the back. I think it is because he was pre-term. So lots and lots of tummy time around here! Also his skin is starting to get sensitive. I hope it's just the winter, and sensitive baby skin, but who knows, he could have allergies like Brooklyn.

Overall though, even though there are hard times sometimes, there is still nothing greater than having him in our lives. Watching him and Brooklyn smile at each other, and having his sweet spirit around is beautiful. He is amazing and we love him so much!!
