Brooklyn is 2 and a half!

Brooklyn just turned 2 and a half a couple days ago. I took a few pictures to document this adorable girl!

Some things about Brooklyn since my last post about her:

• Loved sitting on potty. Not potty trained yet, but I think that is mostly my fault. With the new baby we haven't tried too hard, but she has gone on her potty and on the big potty several times.
• Good balance
• Says sentences 
• Merry go round- loves!  
• Loves nursery
• Kisses stomach
• Chooses her own clothes
• Cheesy grin
• Taps foot when she is impatient
• Loves Backpacks, or anything that can be used to carry around several other things. This girl sis a pack rat! 
• Loves singing
• Fixing things with tools
• Singing abcs 
• Says I love you and gives hugs and kisses constantly 
• Says sorry
• Loves Austin
• Loved Halloween - was a fairy
• Loves taking care of her dolls
• Says prayers
• Helps with Austin, gets him diapers, sings, pacifiers 
• Gives Austin hugs and kisses before goes to bed or anywhere 
• So polite
• Big bed- she loves her big bed and does a great job sleeping in it 
• Observant- knows mommy and daddy things
• Christmas claus instead of Santa Claus 
• Loves Christmas songs
• Becoming a better eater
• Tells me its ok, and its alright if i'm worried about something
• Calls Grandma on her pretend phone (sometimes to complain about mommy)
• Loves her doctor set she got for christmas

Brooklyn is seriously the cutest girl. She turns head everywhere she goes. She is so energetic! She still takes a nap every day (well most days) and she sleeps really well in her own bed at night. She is still allergic to many things, but her skin has improved so much, and although she is a picky eater with what she can eat, she is slowly branching into trying new foods. Foods she loves now are chicken nuggets, hot dogs, ham, corn, squeeze pouches, potatoes, naked juices, grapes, clementines, apples, crackers, and popcorn.
Her hair is still bright red, and by far the question we get asked most is where did she get that beautiful red hair! It's not just her hair though, her smile and her personality make her really stand out. She is very social. She loves making new friends. She also likes tv. Her favorite shows now are Caliou, Daniel Tiger, and Super Why, as well as random princess shows.
She is also very polite. She says sorry, and is constantly giving hugs and saying she loves us. She is such a good big sister. Except for being loud when Austin is trying to sleep she makes him so happy. She gets really concerned when he cries and starts to sing and dance to make him happy.
Brooklyn has the sweetest spirit. It is amazing how well she communicates, and how much she continues to learn everyday. I love that she talks so well and can tell me anything she needs, and she really says complete, good sentences all the time. We are so thankful she is part of our family. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the future, but I also want to cherish these moments for as long as I can because she is just so amazing! Brooklyn we love you!
