Fall of '11

Last fall was great. Mike got me an awesome camera, so we had fun taking pictures and hanging out. Here are some of our adventures...

This is at Sloan's Lake. It is close to downtown Denver.

 This is at another park by our house. We love to hang out at parks and eat pizza or make a picnic and watch movies on our computers. 

During the fall we also went to a place called Estes Park. It is about an hour and a half north of us right by Rocky Mountain National Park. It is an awesome little town, and the center of it is a big lake. We went horse back riding then had dinner and walked around. This town is also kind of famous... because of the Stanley Hotel. In that hotel "The Shining" movie was inspired. The room that the idea came from is supposedly haunted. Jim Carrey even stayed there and he didn't last the whole night because he was too scared. The room is booked in advance for SO long- especially Halloween- for the next several years. Also- Dumb and Dumber was filmed at that hotel!

This town had elk everywhere!

We like to go to a little town called Morrison. It was really close to our house but is tucked up into the mountains. This is also where the famous Red Rocks are. 

Mike buys me lots of flowers, he is pretty awesome.
