So here is a story.. One evening Mike was changing Brooklyn's diaper. A minute before she had opened up a nightstand and grabbed a penny. Mike let her play with it for a minute. While she was getting her diaper changed all of a sudden Mike heard her start to choke. He said she kind of choked for a minute then swallowed. He called for me and we searched all over for the penny.. no where to be found. Brooklyn seemed fine thankfully but we were worried so we called the doctor. He said in the morning we should have her x-rayed to make sure it wasn't stuck somewhere. Turns out it was already way far down! Here is the cool x-ray. The next day Brooklyn pooped it out, and we are keeping the penny :) We were scared but Brooklyn was fine through the experience, so now we have a cool x-ray and penny to show for the story :)
For my birthday we went to the zoo!
Brooklyn brings so much joy into our lives! Some things lately:
- Brooklyn has become a pretty good eater!
- She says "quack quack" all the time! Even to the dog next door haha
- She give the best goodbye kisses and waves
- She likes to plug her ears
- She has learned lots of words!
- She says "ashes" when she wants to play ring around the rosie
- She sleeps through the night most of the time and is a good eater
- She loves chicken nuggets and fries
- She tickles really well, and says "tickle tickle" while she is doing it
- There is so much I could say.. but pretty much Brooklyn is the absolute best!
